MARLENKA - Czech Superbrands and Slovakia Superbrands Awards
10. January 2018, 08:52 | Year 2018 started with a great success for MARLENKA international. It won the CZECH SUPERBRANDS for the second time in the Czech Republic, and newly also the SLOVAKIA SUPERBRANDS 2018 in Slovakia.
The Superbrands Award is one of the most respected independent global authorities in evaluating business brands. The Supebrands title reflects the special position of the awarded company on the local market. The Superbrands award goes only to brands with excellent reputation – customers link these brands with significant values that they feel personally attached to. Since its foundation in the Great Britain, the Superbrands project has received a great respect worldwide. The Superbrands award is seen as special acknowledgement based on unified criteria and methods and presented to the best of the best brands identified in almost 90 countries on five continents.
The awarding of the Superbrands title is the final stage of a multi-round selection procedure taking place during the given year. The individual brands cannot apply for the Superbrands scheme themselves. The nomination issues from a database of registered business trademarks entered by the Industrial Property Authority for this purpose. The Bisnode Corporation, a leading provider of business information, uses business data and results to create the list of the nominated candidates. Then, one of the key elements of the selection procedure follows – the consumer survey, in which the GfK Czech Republic agency gathers data based on the brand knowledge and popularity to produce a list of semi-finalists.
Finally, the Brand Council has the decisive word. This expert committee selects the companies that will be awarded with the Superbrands title in the given year. At the end of the evaluation process the winning consumer brands receive the Superbrands award.
