For many of our customers, our logo is also closely linked to our cakes. It has been with us for an amazing 15 years, with a subtle facelift five years ago. Similarly, our packaging has had the same design for quite a few years now, so we thought it was time for a change.
Marlenka is getting a makeover
Marlenka is growing and changing with the times. This year, the brand is undergoing a major change – a comprehensive innovation of the graphic face.

The reason behind the change

The design process
The creation of the new design took more than two years – from initial considerations and market research to choosing from several potential options. The design itself was developed in cooperation with a renowned agency responsible for a number of global brands and also involved several dozen in-house and external experts.

New logo
The first thing to change is our logo, which has been updated, rejuvenated and given a timeless look. The stylised head of a little girl which has accompanied MARLENKA since the very beginning has also been updated. Overall, the logo is graphically cleaner and more legible.

New packaging
The most visible change is the completely new design of our packaging, based on a unifying cream colour and characteristic photographs of a slice of cake or other products. The aim was to create a timeless and completely unmistakable design. Together with the rejuvenated logo, it creates a coherent concept that is impossible to miss even from a distance.

What else is changing?
The new design will, of course, be applied to all other elements of MARLENKA's communication, including signage at company headquarters, catalogues and other printed materials and the website. A brand new website is under construction and should be launched by the end of this year. What will certainly not change is the quality and original taste of our products – these have remained the same for a long time and we have no reason to change them.

When will you see the new design?
The release of the new graphic face will take place in September/October 2024 across media. From now on, you will encounter the new design with increasing frequency. By the end of this year, major changes will take place, including the completion of the packaging redesign, which will be rolled out gradually. After the New Year, shops will only be stocked with new packaging with the MARLENKA brand.
